Not a Hero – Kaepernick

Shame on you Brett Favre! Shame on you for calling someone that knelled during the National Anthem as a hero. He did nothing to better America. He was not a great quarterback and didn’t sacrifice anything close to Pat Tillman. He was benched and replaced with a better QB and then started to kneel down and say he was doing it for black oppression. Something I doubt he every felt in his life.

Even if he was an awesome QB, what exactly did he sacrifice? Did he place his life on the line? No. He just lost the ability to make money. Instead, Pat Tillman left the millions he was making in the NFL and became a soldier. He went from the comforts of a mansion to the desert combat tent. He went from avoiding a players hard hit to dodging bullets flying at him. Then he lost his life in combat. He is a hero, not a cry baby that kneels during the National Anthem to grab media attention named Colin Kaepernick.

There are others in the NFL I would call a hero, those were also my brothers in the Military. These men below are heroes.

  1. Joe Cardona. …
  2. Alejandro Villanueva. …
  3. Mike Anderson. …
  4. Ahmard Hall. …
  5. Glen Coffee. …
  6. Chad Hennings. …
  7. Roger Staubach
